Charlton Heston Died!

Charlton Heston, the bigger-than-life, heroic, legendary actor has died. He was 84 years old. Heston was probably most known for his Ben-Hur role in which he won an Oscar. Others know him as the president of the Screen Writers Guild, or the president of the National Rifle Association.

Besides Ben-Hur, you can see Heston in other great movies such as Julius Caesar, The Naked Jungle, and The Warlord.

Charlton Heston was a large man; with some reports have him standing at 6’ 3”. He had a large, chiseled jaw, and a deep, refined voice you couldn’t mistake for anyone else. He had charisma and he was a very intelligent man.

In 2002, Heston reported he had symptoms of Alzheimer’s, and if he forgot your name, you would know why.

Charlton Heston died Saturday night at his home in Beverly Hills, CA with his wife Lydia by his side. He will surely be missed.

Something you may not know about Charlton Heston is that his own son was the baby Moses who floated down the Nile in the basket. RIP Mr. Heston.
