Well, it's that time of year again. The dreaded Daylight Saving Time. Not Daylight SavingS Time as I always say. For those of you lucky enough not to know, Daylight Saving Time is a time when everyone runs around re-setting their clocks, watches, thermostats, ovens, microwaves, coffee pots, and everything else that has a clock.

In the Spring we set the clocks ahead 1 hour and in the Fall we run around and set them back 1 hour. I hate it, I think it is nonsense, and I think I should move to Arizona or somewhere so I don't have to deal with it anymore.

Everyone has their own opinion of why we even have a Daylight Saving Time. Some people say it is for the farmers, some say it is to just promote economic activities, and others say it is an energy saver.

Everyone also has their own opinion of why we change our clocks at 2am. A lot of people think it is because of bars, but in actuality, that time was chosen because it was practical and it minimized disruption.

If you want to read more about Daylight Saving Time, you can do so HERE. There's also an article of a study reporting that Daylight Saving Time does not save energy as some had thought, and you can read that HERE.
