Leap Day Is Upon Us and So Is The Question Why?

So what is Leap Day you ask? Well, it is supposed to be the day where everything catches up. Yes, there is a long, drawn out scientific explanation that you can find here, but it is basically here to catch everything up.

Why is it big news? Not exactly sure. Some totally agree with it, and some are in total disagreement with the idea we need to tack another day every 4 years.

I found this article to be informative and also humorous regarding Leap Day. I do find this whole concept of adding an extra day to play catch up a little annoying. It runs along the same vein as setting your clocks ahead and back every Spring and Fall.
