I love the Disney Channel and Hannah Montana played by Miley Cyrus, but Vanity Fair went too far in this photo shoot of Miley Cyrus! The photos cross the “racy” line for this teenager, and I feel bad for her.

You can argue all day long that the human body is beautiful, and I agree, but you also have to remember that Miley Cyrus is only fifteen years old! What was Vanity Fair thinking taking these photos? Well, we all know what they were thinking; the bottom line.

Miley Cyrus Racy Pictures

Miley Cyrus was told by Vanity Fair’s Annie Leibovitz that these pictures will be artistic, which again, might be if the subject wasn’t 15 years old! Did Annie and Vanity Fair know how old Miley Cyrus is or didn’t they care?

Miley is apologizing to everyone and she has nothing to be sorry for. Vanity Fair and Annie Leibovitz have everything to be sorry for, yet the only statement I can find appears to me to be blaming the parents.

This is the statement on the People Magazine website from a Vanity Fair’s spokeswoman: "Miley's parents and/or minders were on the set all day. Since the photo was taken digitally, they saw it on the shoot and everyone thought it was a beautiful and natural portrait of Miley."

Vanity Fair Went Too Far!

On the People Magazine website, Disney had this to say of the photos: "Unfortunately, as the article suggests, a situation was created to deliberately manipulate a 15-year-old in order to sell magazines." I totally agree with that statement.

Vanity Fair should not only apologize for embarrassing Miley Cyrus, but they should also pull the photos from their magazine. If they do neither, then they should close their doors. Anyone who would support this magazine after all of this should be ashamed.

What are your thoughts on this situation? I feel that Miley Cyrus photos are racy and Vanity Fair went way too far!
